In the future…

So after some fairly random surfing, I came across this show produced by the Discovery Channel called 2057. The basic idea is that they take the production values of Hollywood blockbusters and mesh them with ’science-fact’ (point of contention here, how can it be fact when you’re posturing about the future? but anyway…)

Some really interesting ideas that were touched on in movies like ‘The Island’ and ‘Minority Report’ come to life as potential realities for us all… Watch them all on google video. Bring it on!
