São Paulo Reprieve
It seems that the governor of São Paulo must be an ardent subscriber of Adbusters, as he recently banned all outdoor advertising on the grounds of visual - and one must assume mental - 'pollution'. For how long it lasts, who knows, but I cannot argue with the logic. And whilst seemingly impossible, its true.
It makes for some beautifully eery photos, but what's even cooler is that someone with the power to affect considerable change has done so - whatever the ultimate motive. Let's hope it remains in place, as something more than a political gimmick...
