Google’s Masterplan
One for the conspiracy theorists, Google's masterplan certainly does make you think about privacy and how willing we are to give it all up for something free... Great sound design and the lack of an American accent makes it somehow more believable. Aesthetically very similar to knifeparty's project for the new american century

Check out these amazing Mustang billboards, constructed from "GE Lexan EXL semi-transparent resin". To mere mortals such as you or I, this means that each billboard "accurately blurs the scene behind it regardless of day, weather or season".

Love it or hate it, helvetica is to design what rice is to most of Asia. But say you want to be just a tad different without stepping out into the lawless zone of headline fonts, then this list of alternatives to the great H might be worth a quick visit. What would be really cool (read: super type-nerdy) would be to lay all these on top of one another at various opacities and stand around debating the merits of one bowl over another. Penguin Books jumps on the whole web 2.0 / co-creation / croudsourcing / user-generated / insert more buzzwords here, bandwagon with a wiki that allows anyone to contribute to the writing of a novel. But beware the Ts&C's: "By posting your submission on the Wiki Novel and the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, world-wide licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, publish, distribute and display any content you submit to us in any format now known or later developed.
