I reckon Lupe Fiasco’s new album ‘Food and Liquor’ is pretty crap (cover art excepted), but I do like this track… Maybe cause I grew up skating and this vid has that home-made skate movie feel to it, or maybe just cause the beats are so simple, or maybe just because summer is on the way out and the laid-back quality of this track reminds me of that… Whatever…

I agree Kick Push is the hightlight, but what about Daydreamin’? Jill Scott’s hook and Lupe’s second verse makes that track super nice.
As for the album…..with the amount of hype that was behind it, i expected a few more winners.

Yeah, Daydreamin’ is the other standout for sure… Again, its got that summery feel to it that just lilts along… backed up by his lyrics that are just behind the beat enough to heighten the chilled atmos… like a great old jazz track
