Metropolis with full orchestra

One of the best things about living in London is the amount of culture at one’s disposal. Indeed the limit is too-often defined by my wallet - and never on the good side ;) Having said that though, I had the good fortune to see Fritz Lang’s ‘Metropolis’ with a full orchestra performing the score live. Not unexpectedly, this was one of the greatest film moments of my life. The raw power of the orchestra added something electric to the atmosphere of this already brilliant and visionary film. If you haven’t seen the film you must, and if you happen to get the chance to see it with a live orchestra, so much the better!!!
