In an effort to make the computer GUI more intuitive by referencing real world workspaces, researchers have created BumpTop. Based around the concept of ‘piles’, they added physics along with some completely new ways of interacting with objects. The mouse is done away with in favour of a wacom-style pen which can push, pin, throw and tidy objects into a myraid of different piles…
